Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce begins to simmer.
3. For glaze, simmer gently for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
4. Taste and adjust spice levels if needed.
5. Let cool slightly before serving or storing in a jar.
